The Arid Biome

    The arid biome is home to a lot of sand and empty space. Despite this, there are still a lot of animals that love it here because of the intense heat. It's like a sauna for them!

    Some of the animals that can live comfortably in the heat are camels, bearded dragons, scorpions, and tortoises.

    Arid biomes have a very small amount of rain every year, making water hard to come by. Also, the temperature here changes a lot throughout the day. At night, the air is very cold, but during the day the sun makes the biome very hot and dry!
